Our topic for today is beautiful British actress Keira Knightley. She is famous for her roles in films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Bend it Like Beckham, Atonement, The Duchess and Love Actually.
Some over at The Gloss has a problem with Keira Knightley brows. She/He feels that they are “just too close together”.
Here are her “caterpillar brows”. Note that this being the cover of a magazine, they’ve probably retouched her face quite a bit.
The writer suggested that the inner part of her eyebrows should start parallel to where the outer part of her nostrils end. Here’s her brows with the 1/4 inch patch nearest to her nose digitally plucked off. What do you think?
The difference is subtle, so here’s a side by side comparison.
It is also suggested that her brows should be lightened to match her hair. Here’s Keira with her shorter (narrower), digitally bleached brows. Here, she looks a lot like Natalie Portman, whom she’d worked with in Star Wars. Natalie played Queen Amidala and Keira got the part of the queen’s decoy Sabe because of their striking resemblance.
How about Keira with thinner eyebrows?
Thinner brows + bleach. She looks slightly older here.
We at The Look Factor think that her eyebrows are perfectly fine the way they are – thick but well-groomed – but as the saying goes, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Let us know what you think.
